A new tradition

So every year for Christams we have the same traditions. Making gingerbread houses, baking goodies for the neighbors, decorating the house. But this year we have added a new one that I love. Kid #2 thought it up. He loves to do plays and reinact things. He wanted to reinacted Luke 2 with the kids as the main parts. Kid #1 was Mary. Kid #2 was Joseph. And no Kid #3 was not baby Jesus although he wanted to be (I think for the reason of being a baby not anything else). Instead Kid #3 was the innkeeper. He had the only speaking part. Dad was the narrator. Kid #3 pulled it off though. No room was his line and he improvised "Go away". After the story we watched the real movie version. During the movie Kid #1 &2 both commented on how much they love watching this movie because it makes them feel the Spirit. That made my Chirstmas. I mean yes I love watching them unwrap all their presents but having them truly understand what Christmas is makes me very happy.
