So here are some pictues of the "activity" portion of what our FHE looks like. When we make something that is when one of the kids is in charge. However, I was in charge this week and we had followed our leaders council. On Sunday they announced that we should challenge our prepardness and live off of our food storage the following Monday which was a holiday. We could then use the experience to talk about during FHE. We did what we were told and the kids LOVED it. Kid #2 thought it was like camping in our house. We cooked with our little stove, used the water from our big storage gallons to wash dishes and such. I think the kids loved pumping it out. Hopefully they don't try that at a later date. I learned a lot like, there is a reason you should rotate your 72 hour kit. (food out of date, clothes don't fit, another kid) All in all the kids love doing FHE and we are a better family for all we learn as a family.
