Where you heading mam?

So for those of you who don't know I am an almost PERFECT driver. I have only had two infractions in my almost 20 years of driving (yeah that's right I am that old). Anyhoo, I am heading down one of many of the country backroads here in Utah headed to school. It was like the crack of dawn and I was thinking of the things I had to do that day. Well, in my mental Franklin Day Planner mode, I was distracted by the rolling lights of yes Hoopers finest. As I am waiting the eons of seconds it takes for the gentelmans time to make sure I am not an escaped convict or worse from Syracuse. I happened to think that I have many times been in the car with my sweetheart when he has ensured job security for policemen everywhere. Now, my love is a VERY catious drive (we still have our 3 kids and myself to thank for that) but he always seems to get caught with his pedal down-if you know what I mean. In the past seven years we have been married he has been PULLED OVER at least 10 times. Not to mention the other 15 or so that he has had before we met. And the homeless guy he hit in Vegas. But who's counting.

I had a great opportunity not to let my husband know about this little misadventure in Hooper where it would only be between me and Opi. But, I couldn't let this little bit of true justice pass, so with hesitation and a LOT of humility I dialed my hubo and told him the sad sad news. And you know what he didn't gloat or jump for joy. He just talked me through it and told me not to let it ruin my day.

I will be paying for this later I think.
